WHAT WE DO

Three things.
Each one distinct.
Each one tailored to help teams work better — which turns out to be the thing that makes almost everything else possible.
SERVICE 01
Leadership Round the Table.
Nature as teacher. Table Mountain as classroom.

Table Mountain doesn't do silos.

In the fynbos that blankets its slopes, every species participates in networks of exchange so sophisticated they make most organisational structures look, frankly, amateur. None of it was designed. It evolved, over millions of years, into something that works.

Leadership Round the Table takes executive teams into this living system to ask a simple question: what would your team look like if it worked like this?

It is a six-part walkshop series. Each session is set on the slopes of Table Mountain and dedicated to one of the defining challenges of working well together at the top of an organisation:
THE SIX C's

Collaboration · Constructive Conflict · Communication · Collective Awareness · Cohesive Alignment · Creative Innovation

Six sessions. Six C's. We totally planned that.
Each walkshop is customised to your team's specific dynamics before you arrive. Sessions run from three hours to a full day, on the Mountain or adapted to other settings when needed. The series can be taken as a complete programme or as individual sessions. Both work. The cumulative effect of all six is something else entirely.
"This was such a meaningful starting point for fostering collaboration within our team. What stood out most was how seamlessly personal introspection was combined with team collaboration — which made the experience both engaging and impactful. It felt like a safe space to be open and honest, and that set the tone for stronger connections within the group."

SERVICE 02
In the Room.
Same rigour. Different terrain.

Most teams aren't underperforming because the individuals aren't capable. They're underperforming because of what happens between people — the unspoken tension in the room, the decision nobody quite made, the alignment that looked solid in the meeting and dissolved by Thursday.

This is the work we've been doing for over two decades. Team effectiveness interventions, collaborative strategy sessions, facilitated workshops and offsites — each one custom-tailored for the specific team, challenge, and moment in front of us. We don't deliver off-the-shelf. We have a proven set of principles, methods, and hard-won instincts that we tailor to your actual situation.

Typical contexts: team integration, post-restructure realignment, strategy development, collaborative problem-solving, leadership offsites.
"They have been instrumental in unlocking fundamentally different thinking to solve very complex business challenges using the design thinking methodology and approach."
JONATHAN LODER — Head of HR: ROG and Organisational Effectiveness, Woolworths Human Resources
"Paul and his team have always been incredible thinking partners related to future ways of working, way before
COVID-19 accelerated the conversation."

Seriously Though.
Two Voices. One Practice.

Paul and Janéne speak independently at conferences, leadership summits, and corporate events. Different styles, different subjects, same rigour.
Paul Steenkamp

Innovation · Leadership · The Springbok Blueprint

Paul speaks on innovation, leadership, and what happens when you look very carefully at world-class performance — in business, and on the rugby field. His talks are grounded in nearly three decades of work at the sharp end of organisational change, and in the research behind his forthcoming book, The Springbok Blueprint.
Janéne Steenkamp

Nature-connected leadership · Creativity · The art of paying attention

Janéne speaks on nature-connected leadership, creativity, and the art of paying attention — what it means to lead from genuine presence rather than performance. Her signature talk, Ways of Seeing in Nature, Leadership and Life, explores what shifts when leaders learn to truly pay attention: to nature, to their teams, and to the intelligence that lives at the edges of what we usually notice.
