ABOUT

Jack Frost is a facilitation and organisational development practice.

We work with leadership teams across South Africa, the Middle East, and Europe — from our bases in Cape Town and Dubai.

We started in 2016 with a stubborn conviction: that the most meaningful change in organisations happens from the inside out. Nearly a decade later, the work has changed shape. The conviction hasn't.

Two Humans. Quite a lot of Experience.

LINKEDIN

Paul Steenkamp has spent three decades helping people build companies, teams, and careers that last and make a difference.

He's done it from the inside — as Head of Innovation Programs at FNB and Standard Bank, where he spent seven years building the structures, teams, and cultures that turn good ideas into real business value, including the launch of SnapScan and Shyft. He's done it as a consultant, through Jack Frost, the Cape Town-based organisational effectiveness practice he co-founded. And he does it today at Futureworld Middle East, working directly with leadership teams to accelerate business transformation.

He is a faculty member at UCT's Graduate School of Business, a former two-term member of South Africa's National Advisory Council on Innovation, and the co-author of Character Insights for a Regenerative Future (2022).

His forthcoming book, The Springbok Blueprint, begins with a question that turns out to be about a lot more than rugby:

On 16 September 2017, the All Blacks demolished the Springboks 57–0. Eight tries. South Africa's worst defeat. Fourteen of the players on that field went on to become Rugby World Cup champions. Twelve of them won it twice. Same talent. Same players. What changed?

The Springbok Blueprint translates the leadership and management principles behind the back-to-back Rugby World Cup winning Springboks into a practical guide for anyone building a team, a company, or a career that actually lasts.

Janéne Steenkamp

Co-founder, Jack Frost · Biomimicry Practitioner · Nature Therapy Guide · Artist · Speaker

JANENESTEENKAMP.COM

Janéne works at the intersection of the wild and the human. Her work brings together facilitation, nature-connected leadership, biomimicry, and a lifelong practice as an artist. The thread running through all of it is attention — the particular kind that notices what others walk past.

She co-founded Jack Frost with Paul Steenkamp. Together they design and facilitate experiences that help leadership teams access their own collective intelligence — because the best answers are almost always already in the room.

Her background spans Fine Arts, teaching, nature therapy, and biomimicry. She is a certified Biomimicry Practitioner and an accredited ANFT Nature Therapy Guide, and has worked with corporate teams across South Africa, the Middle East, and Europe — including Woolworths, Electrical Industries, Much Asphalt, Sanlam, and UNICEF.

Her nature-connected leadership work is not outdoor team-building, and it is not wellness. It is a rigorous, carefully designed practice that uses the fynbos ecosystem of Table Mountain as curriculum — helping leaders develop the pattern recognition, systems thinking, and adaptive capacity that complex organisations demand. Table Mountain is more or less on her doorstep. It shows up in the work constantly.

She speaks on nature-connected leadership, creativity, and the art of paying attention. Her signature talk — Ways of Seeing in Nature, Leadership and Life — explores what happens when leaders learn to truly pay attention: to nature, to their teams, and to the intelligence that lives at the edges of what we usually notice.

WORTH SAYING PLAINLY

What We Are Not.

We are not a management consultancy. We don't arrive with a framework and fit your situation into it. We are not a training company — we don't deliver off-the-shelf content. And we are not an innovation agency producing ideas on your behalf.

We are facilitators. Our job is to help your team find its own answers — with each other, the work itself, and sometimes a mountain as the teacher. What changes, changes because your people chose it and built it. That's what makes it last.

Working with a team that's stuck, misaligned, or just not firing the way it should?

We've probably seen it before. Let's talk.
